If you want to wear your kilt with a jacket and tie, to the office, or for an evening on the town, the Casual Model is the kilt for you.
The pleats are narrow like those in a Traditional Kilt (1" wide and 2.75" deep). This allows the Casual Model to develop true "kilt swish". The waistband is 2" wide and you can select 2" or 3" belt loops. You may choose from any of our pocket options. When paired with the Side Slash Pocket and Rear Welt Pocket options this is the "Dockers" of kilts.
Your Casual Kilt can be made from any of our fabrics but we suggest the Polyester/Cotton blends for their superb wrinkle resistance.
You may specify the waist height and hem length of your Casual Kilt but it was designed for those who wish to wear their kilt at mid rise, about the navel, with the hem at the top or mid-point of the knee. This look goes very well with kilt hose and dress shirts.
The amount of fabric in your kilt will vary according to your size. For example, a kilt with a 42" hip will have a 14" apron, 28 pleats and will take 7.43 yards of fabric.
